Historic Event Venue in Lower Manhattan
Built in 1927 as the Bank of New York and Trust Company, 48 Wall Street has been at the center of New York City history for nearly a century. Today it is one of the most distinctive event venues in the Financial District, offering 12,500 square feet of grand historic space for corporate events, conferences, weddings, galas, and private celebrations. The 30-foot ceilings, grand marble staircase, crystal chandeliers, and original Palladian windows create an atmosphere that no modern venue can manufacture.

Grand Mezzanine Hall
This space has retained much of its original 1920's architectural detail, from the 30-foot ceilings to its beautiful Palladian windows. The Banking Hall can accommodate a variety of events.

Situated on the lower level, the concourse is designed to hold meetings, breakouts, classes, and events.

Recent renovations have brought modern technical infrastructure and enhanced finishes to 48 Wall Street while preserving the original architectural character that makes this venue remarkable. The Grand Mezzanine Banking Hall on the main level offers 9,000 square feet with 30-foot ceilings, expanded bar service areas, professional lighting systems, and full AV infrastructure. Whether you are hosting a seated conference for 300 or a cocktail reception for 500, the space is configured to support it without compromise.
48 Wall Street also offers the Concourse Level, an additional 3,000 square feet below the main hall that divides into breakout rooms for conferences, serves as a pre-function cocktail space, or provides a dedicated service and staging area for larger events. The grand marble staircase connects both levels and creates natural moments of arrival and transition that add to the experience for every guest.
